Finally, The Financial Times reports that ING has come under fire for the $1.76m its CEO, Jan Hommen, made in 2010. The newspaper quotes Dutch Labour politican Ronald Plasterk, who said that paying large bonuses while the firm remained indebted to the taxpayers was an 'idiotic situation'.
